How can I book Australian Outback Spectacular?
Can children attend Australian Outback Spectacular on their own?
We reserve the right to deny admission to persons under the age of 18 unless accompanied by a supervising companion aged 18 years or over. Adults and carers are responsible for persons under their supervision.
Does Australian Outback Spectacular accept companion cards?
Companion cards are not accepted at Australian Outback Spectacular. A reduced general admission Pensioner rate is applicable for carers visiting the show with Companion Card holders upon application with our friendly Call Centre team on 13 33 86.
Who is eligible for a pensioner discount?
To qualify for reduced admission entry as a Pensioner, one of the following criteria must be met.
Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Pension Concession Card (PPC), excluding listed dependants qualify for the pension rate. This does not include holders of Australian Health Care Cards. The Australian Pension Concession Card are issued to recipients of the following pension payments:
Mature Age Allowance
Sole Parenting Pension
Mature Aged Pension
Disability Pension
Pensioner prices are available to Australian and New Zealand Government pension card holders only and a valid and original pension card must be presented at the time of entry.
Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Seniors Card.
Holders of a valid New Zealand Seniors Card.
Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Veteran Affairs Pension Card.
Any person 65 years of age or older - proof of age is required.
Do I need to book a ticket for my child/infant for the Australian Outback Spectacular?
Admission is free for children 2 years or under (not including seat and meal).
A full child rate is applicable for children aged 3 - 13 years inclusive or for children 2 years and under where an individual seat and meal is to be served.
Strollers are not permitted inside the venue, but can be cloaked free of charge upon arrival.
Where are my seats at Australian Outback Spectacular?
Online Reservations
When you purchase via our website, your seats will be assigned. Each ticket is assigned a specific seat in the venue at the time of purchase. Seats are typically identified by row number/letter, seat number, and sometimes by section.
Phone Reservations
If you reserve your seats by calling 13 33 86, our team will arrange your booking for the next best available seats. We cannot provide seat locations as they are subject to change.
If you have mobility concerns our team will do their best to allocate seating that will best accommodate your needs.
Please note that for operational reasons we cannot guarantee you will be seated in your originally assigned seats. In the event you are moved, our team will do their best to seat you closest to your current allocation.
Seating Types
At Australian Outback Spectacular we have four seating options:
Drovers Lounge - The Drovers Lounge offers you the chance to experience hospitality at its finest. Enjoy early entry and a behind the scenes tour from the comfort of an exclusive lounge.
Top Rail - ‘Top Rail Premium Package’ ensures you not only get the best seat in the house, but you receive the VIP treatment including complimentary pre-show drinks and photos.
General Admission - Our most popular seating type you'll enjoy the show with our three-course meal including XXXX Beer, Hardys Wine, and soft drink.
Venue & Access
Where is Australian Outback Spectacular located?
Australian Outback Spectacular is located on the Gold Coast in the southeast corner of the Australian State of Queensland, just a 20-minute drive north of Surfers Paradise and 45 minutes south of Brisbane.
If you require a transfer to the venue, these are available at an additional charge to your show ticket from most hotels and resorts on the Gold Coast, and can be by contacting our team on 13 33 86.
Is there parking available?
Yes, free on-site parking is available for all guests, including dedicated coach and accessible parking bays.
Can I bring a pram or stroller into the show?
Prams are not permitted inside the show arena due to space and safety. However, pram parking is available in the foyer during the show.
Can you recommend nearby accommodation to Australian Outback Spectacular?
Australian Outback Spectacular is located in Oxenford on the Gold Coast.
Why not try a unique Farmstay experience away from the hustle and bustle with the choice of our farm style camp, caravan or motor home sites. Or truly retreat in our Farmstay Eco Tents.
Alternatively, you may like to stay at Sea World Resort.
Sea World Resort offers exclusive packages that include Australian Outback Spectacular. In addition we can arrange bus transfers from the resort to the show.

We’re Cashless
What payment methods are accepted in venue?
In-line with other entertainment venues, Australian Outback Spectacular is cashless, with card and digital payments only accepted in the venue. This process allows for a faster, safer and more convenient experience.
Will we have to pay more with credit card fees?
There are no additional transaction fees when purchasing items at our properties via card or digital wallet.
Cash is still a legal tender, and I should be able to use it to pay for my items?
Australian Outback Spectacular is now cashless, in-line with other entertainment venues. Card and digital are the only form of payments accepted in venue. We have transitioned to being a cashless venue which is a common business practice in the entertainment industry throughout Australia in recent years. During this transition period, we will work with guests who only have cash on solutions to ensure they can still experience the venue.
Food & Beverage
What are the meal options available at Australian Outback Spectacular?
Entrée: Rustic woodfire roasted vegetable and goats fetta tart served with wild rocket and home-made Queensland pineapple and mustard seeded chutney.
Main: Juicy eye fillet steak or a tender chicken breast with a full-bodied jus dressed with lashings of plum sauce accompanied by a generous serve of roast pumpkin, green beans and potato.
Dessert: Baked apple pie, delicately drizzled with warm salted caramel sauce and topped with a dollop of fresh Heartland cream.
Vegetarian option: Braised vegetables in a cast iron pot.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes, we offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and other options on request. We’re happy to accommodate additional dietary needs where possible. Please contact our team on 13 33 86 at least 48 hours before your visit to discuss your requirements.
Is alcohol served during the show?
Yes, your experience includes beer, wine, and soft drinks. Guests who book the Top Rail Premium Package receive upgraded beverage options throughout the night.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for medically necessary items.
Accessibility
Accessible Parking
Reserved parking is available in our car park for guests whose vehicles display a Disability Parking Permit. The reserved spaces are clearly marked with the International Disabilities Symbol.
Assistive Listening Service
Australian Outback Spectacular offers an Assistive Listening service to enhance the show experience for guests with hearing difficulties. Complimentary headsets with FM receivers are available, amplifying the show sound directly through headphones.
A limited number of individual hearing loops are also available for guests using T-coil hearing aids.
Please note, both services must be pre-booked by contacting our Contact Centre on 13 33 86.
Companion Card
Companion cards are not accepted at Australian Outback Spectacular. A reduced general admission Pensioner rate is applicable for carers visiting the show with Companion Card holders upon application with our friendly Call Centre team on 13 33 86.
Guests using a Wheelchair
We have a limited amount of wheelchair accessible seats at the Australian Outback Spectacular. For more information on these seats, or to book, please call our sales team on 13 33 86.
Loud, Sudden Noises and Strobe Lighting
The performance includes loud sound effects, sudden noises, strobe lighting and atmospheric effects. These may not be suitable for guests with sensitivities or certain medical conditions including vertigo, epilepsy, seizures, heart conditions or high blood pressure.
Assistance Animals
Assistance animals are welcome. Assistance animals must be on a lead, not left unattended and wear vests that identify their role. Guests with an assistance animal may be asked to provide evidence that their animal is an assistance animal. If sufficient evidence is not provided, we may restrict entry.

We also have the right to restrict entry to any animals, where it is reasonably necessary to protect public health or the health of other animals in our care.

Show Information
What time does the show start?
Evening shows commence at 7:30pm and the monthly Sunday matinee commences at 12:30pm. Please arrive one hour and 15 minutes prior to the showtime. Doors to the venue and arena open then with pre-show entertainment commencing at the same time. Show duration is 1 hour and 45 minutes including a delicious three course meal.
